Shannon is an experienced Occupational Therapist, with a breadth of over 20 years clinical experience.
Shannon has advanced clinical knowledge in aged care, home assessments and palliative and cancer care. She is Lymphoedema trained.
In addition Shannon has established specialist outpatient clinics in both the public and private sectors in Hand Therapy, Vascular and Lymphoedema.
Shannon works from a holistic strengths based model where participants are considered in the context of their natural, built and psychosocial environments. Physical, psychological, spiritual and emotional needs are carefully assessed. Shannon has studied Visual Art at a Tertiary level and integrates Art as a therapeutic medium into her practice, as well as nature and play based therapies.
Clinical Supervision & Mentoring
Shannon is an experienced clinical supervisor, mentor and educator. Shannon provides private clinical supervision to Occupational Therapists and students both in person and via telehealth. Shannon has expertise in aged care which she is happy to share as a supervisor.
